Wellbeing Programs – Top Blokes, PCYC, Seasons for Growth
Our wellbeing programs support students’ emotional, social, and personal growth. Through partnerships with Top Blokes, PCYC, and Seasons for Growth, we provide engaging activities, mentoring, and resilience-building opportunities to help young people develop confidence, strengthen relationships, and navigate life’s challenges in a positive, supportive environment.

Student Choir
Our Student Choir brings together talented voices to create beautiful harmonies. It’s a chance to build confidence, foster teamwork, and enjoy the joy of singing in a supportive, welcoming environment. Performances allow students to showcase their skills and share their passion for music with the community.

Drumming
Students experience the vibrant rhythms of djembe drumming, learning traditional techniques and performing as part of a dynamic group. This energetic program builds coordination, listening skills, and confidence while fostering a sense of community and cultural appreciation through the joy of making music together.

Swim Scheme
Selected students participate in the Swim Scheme to build water confidence, improve swimming skills, and learn important water safety in a supportive, structured program. This focused learning helps students feel comfortable and capable in the water, setting a strong foundation for lifelong aquatic skills.

Enrichment Groups
Enrichment Groups provide students with opportunities to deepen their learning and pursue interests in a supportive environment. Through stimulating projects and challenges, students develop problem-solving skills, creativity, and a love of learning beyond the classroom. These groups nurture potential and encourage personal growth.

Interest Groups
Interest Groups bring together students who share common passions, from hobbies to academic pursuits. These groups encourage exploration, skill-building, and friendship in a fun, supportive setting, allowing students to deepen their knowledge and enjoy activities they love outside the classroom.

Incursions
Incursions bring exciting learning experiences right into the classroom. Through engaging workshops, performances, and interactive activities led by visiting experts, students explore new ideas, cultures, and skills that enrich their education in a dynamic and memorable way.

Netball
Netball is a fast-paced, team sport that builds fitness, coordination, and strategic thinking. Our program welcomes all skill levels, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a supportive and fun environment. Students gain confidence and make new friends while enjoying friendly competition.

ANZAC Day
ANZAC Day, observed on April 25, honours the Australian and New Zealand soldiers who fought and sacrificed their lives during the Gallipoli campaign in World War I. It is a solemn day of remembrance for all who have served in wars, reflecting on courage, endurance, and mateship that continue to inspire today. The day includes dawn services, marches, and memorial ceremonies to pay tribute to their legacy.

Cricket
Cricket is a popular bat-and-ball sport played between two teams of eleven players. It combines skill, strategy, and teamwork as players aim to score runs by hitting the ball and running between wickets while the opposing team tries to get batters out. It’s a great way to build fitness and sportsmanship.

Photography Club
Photography Club inspires creativity as students explore the art of capturing moments through the lens. Members learn techniques, experiment with styles, and develop their skills while sharing their unique perspectives. It’s a fun, supportive space to express creativity and discover the world in a new way.

Science/STEM
Our Science/STEM program sparks curiosity and fosters critical thinking through hands-on experiments, coding, robotics, and problem-solving projects. Students explore real-world science and technology, developing skills in creativity, collaboration, and innovation that prepare them for future academic and career opportunities. It’s learning that inspires discovery.

Cultural
Our Cultural program celebrates Aboriginal heritage and traditions through storytelling, art, music, and connection to Country. It fosters respect, understanding, and pride in First Nations cultures, enriching our school community and inspiring meaningful learning about Australia’s oldest continuous cultures.

Mathematics
Our Mathematics program builds strong numeracy skills through engaging lessons that develop problem-solving, reasoning, and critical thinking. Students explore patterns, shapes, data, and calculations to gain confidence and a lifelong appreciation for maths in everyday life and future learning.

Spelling Bee
Our Spelling Bee challenges students to improve their spelling and vocabulary in a fun, competitive setting. It encourages confidence, concentration, and a love of language as participants prepare and showcase their skills while supporting each other’s learning journey.

Dance Festival
Our Dance Festival is a vibrant celebration of movement and creativity where students showcase their talents across various styles. It encourages teamwork, expression, and confidence, bringing the school community together to enjoy energetic performances full of rhythm and joy.

Debating
Debating develops critical thinking, confident communication, and teamwork. Students engage in lively discussions on various topics, learning to present arguments clearly, listen respectfully, and think on their feet. This challenging activity builds leadership skills and encourages informed, respectful participation in public discourse

Recorder
The recorder is a simple, flute-like instrument ideal for beginners. It develops fine motor skills, breath control, and finger coordination in young musicians. Learning the recorder builds a strong foundation for music understanding and prepares students for future instruments, all while encouraging creativity and confidence through joyful music-making.

Athletics Carnival
Our Athletics Carnival is an exciting day where students compete in a variety of track and field events. It promotes fitness, sportsmanship, and school spirit while encouraging personal bests and teamwork. Everyone is cheered on as they challenge themselves and celebrate their achievements.
